First Anniversary Photoshoot | Couples Photography

Hey hey! Let’s talk about this absolute stunner of a couples session. Kat and Chance came to me to organize a couples photoshoot for their first anniversary!!! Investing in high quality couples photography is an amazing way to celebrate an anniversary! It can remind you of this special time when it has come and past and the way that you felt. Kat and Chance TOTALLY killed this session and we all had so much fun. While I don’t shoot weddings anymore, there will always be a special place in my heart for couples portraits and celebrating love! Getting to do an engagement or couples photoshoot every once in a while always warms my heart.

Kat + Chance’s Couples Photoshoot

I met up with Kat and Chance at a local park for these gorgeous nature shots. As soon as I spotted them looking soooo cool in the crisp white top and denim matching outfits, I knew this was going to be a good one. Right away, I got to directing these two into various poses. They took it all in stride and spent the entire time laughing together and it was truly one of the most fun sessions.

We chatted a lot about their wedding day while I had them standing, leaning, wrapping arms around each other, Kat jumping on Chance’s back, walking across the street hand in hand, and all sorts of silly posing. They lit up as they gushed about their day.

I even surprised them by playing their first dance song from their wedding and watched (from behind my viewfinder) as they shared a special moment a year later. They seemed to have loved it and we got some great photos, so I’m calling it a win. It is wildly obvious that their wedding was so special to them. They showed me their matching tattoos of their wedding day and I had to snap photos of them.
