An event planner photoshoot in the studio plus the coolest girl’s night in town.

Little Celebrations Event Planner Photoshoot

Britt owns Little Celebrations, which is an event planning company based here in Central Illinois. Her business is brand new and she wanted to launch strong with brand photos, so we set up an event planner photoshoot.

Britt is an amazing party planner. She just has a great vision and attention to detail to bring it to life. Little Celebrations is all about making small events special. From birthday parties to baby showers, Britt takes care of all the little details.

From the moment Britt filled out my brand questionnaire, every thing about this brand photoshoot was on point. She had a Pinterest board ready with inspiration. She had her visual brand guidelines ready, with every tiny detail Britt made it so easy for me to see her vision and plan the photoshoot. She planned out all of her props, I had her bring some prints of her branding and some extra ribbon since bows were a big part of her branding.

The small details are truly so important and something I love so much about doing brand photoshoots. We tied little bows everywhere. Of course, for flatlays (I just love flatlays), but also on the chair! It’s those little details that make a shoot unique to your brand.

We had the event planner photoshoot at The Studio on Sampson, my photography rental studio in Tremont, Illinois.

The Girl’s Night Collab—Event Planner Photoshoot

We were talking during her session about the launch of her business and she mentioned she was planning a trial run with a girls night! She wanted to get feedback from her friends and have another event planned to work out the kinks of her process.

On the way home, I had the genious idea for a collab! I had been wanting to host a small event at The Studio on Sampson to showcase how the space can be used. I already had a portfolio of other photographers using the space, but not content about events!

So, I pitched the collab. I would allow her to host her girl’s night at the studio and I would get content for both her business and for the studio! So that is exactly what we did!

She created this beautiful set up and it was such a wonderful collaboration of not ONLY her new business and her girls, but a collaboration of so many small and local businesses. From the food to the photos.

This shoot is such a perfect representation of brand photography and what small business is all about. I love building connections like this and being able to support each other in all sorts of ways. I am beyond obsessed with this photoshoot and everything that came from it.
